Paolo de Marchi is one of Italy's greatest winemakers. And this is his flagship wine. It's made from two conjoined estatesIsoleandOlenathat date back hundreds of years. Because they're at a higher altitude than many other Chianti Classico vineyards, you'll notice a distinct light and elegant nature in this wine. a superb Super Tuscan made from 100% Sangiovese. Expect flavours of ripe red fruits and spices, soft tannins, a refreshing acidity and a very long finish. Try it with grilled beef or a hearty stew.
