The River Cafe Look Book Where the River Cafe Cook Book came first now there follows the River Cafe Look Book. It's still a recipe book but these 50 recipes are drawn from the bank of knowledge and experience of the River Cafe chefs to be particularly suited to kids of all ages. The book is split into two distince sections: the recipes are at the rear of the book arranged from Antipasti to Dolci on deliciously colour coded pages. The first part of the book is taken up with double page spreads that include photographs of the dishes that are covered by the recipes. The pictures of the food are paired with an image that has some kind of relationship with it, be that in colour, form or texture. A photograph of the raspberry sorbet is paired with an image of a 1970s pink telephone, roasted datterine tomatoes are paired with a picture of a horse with a decorative bridle headpiece that is covered with red and yellow forms that are the same colour as the roasted tomatoes, spatchcock chicken
