Ventile cotton boasts excellent characteristics: it breathes and is just as comfortable as you expect from cotton garments but when it rains, this extremely densely woven material swells up in a controlled manner, becoming very resistant to water. This is the second development version of the Peski. It differs from the original by not having seam tapes, and having fine-tuned pockets: they now have easier to use zippers and wind flaps. *Note!* The material is not waterproof. Ventile settles in somewhere between shell apparel and poly cotton apparel in terms of weather protection.
