This kit is a great introduction to the technique of screen printing. At its most basic the technique is the process of pushing ink through a fabric screen on to another surface. By blocking out areas of the screen you can therefore just push the ink through certain sections resulting in a shape or pattern being transferred to the surface on which you are printing. This kit is a collaboration between Print Club London and Luckies. It contains a small screen, a squeegee, a tub of black fabric ink, spatulas, sheets of vinyl shapes and . . . a set of instructions. In addition to the contents of the box you will also need a decent sized flat surface, water and a sponge, a clothes iron, some fabric to print on. You may also find it useful to have masking tape, scrap cardboard and a pair of scissors or a craft knife to hand, and an apron.
