Sketch.inc by Lucie Kaas is an extravagant world inspired by geometric expressions, Japanese illustration and Nordic aesthetic. Some drawings are born from Becky's imagination itself, while others are caricatured icons taken from art, music, design and historical world to celebrate cultural figures. The idea for the figures of this series was born from the Japanese Koleshi figures. These statuettes are a traditional artisan toy of Japan. These figures are traditionally made of fruit tree wood, they are usually turned and then hand painted. The characteristics of these figures are the narrow shape of the body and the round head. The London design study Sketch Inc. has taken this ancient tradition and brought it to the modern era with a lot of color and even more humor. Together with the Danish design brand Lucie Kaas, he created a group of figures of decorative and very witty pop culture, now also available as a key ring.
