The steep sides and the freckling of the glazes combine to create an artisan, natural and calming quality in a plate that is beautiful as well as versatile. This plate is ideal as a side, dessert or salad plate and can be used in the oven to warm up some left overs or cooking from scratch. Kiln Green is tranquil, soft, and serene, designed to embrace the link with nature and biophilic design. The calming colour palette of soft white and celadon shades of green combine to create the stunning reactive glaze effects used across the collection. Firstly the elliptical pattern used on the face of the plates and bowls, applied differently to each piece, pools beautifully to create the organic finish, and this is then accompanied by the ombre hand-dipped effect used on the taller items to give each its own identity, whilst still layering together beautifully as a complete range.
