Chateau grey is an elegant green-grey colour. This traditional colour was created when decorative painters mixed their leftovers to create a new base coat. Chalk paint is a very special paint for a number of reasons: * Sanding and priming is not necessary. * Environmentally friendly due to a very low solvent content. * Can be used on almost any surface, indoors and outdoors. * The paint can be diluted with water for whitewash, for example, so that the wood grain remains visible. * The colours are composed in such a way that they can be mixed well with each other. * It's a girls' paint, but boys can use it too. * You can safely use it if you are pregnant. * It allows walls to breathe and is therefore extremely suitable for old houses or cottages. * It can be used as 'impasto', to do this leave the lid off the pot to allow the paint to dry, making it thicker. * The paint has been made since 1990, you could say: dyed in the wool.
