Health benefits from suitable quality and availability of water, adequate sanitation facilities and improved hygiene behaviour. We established the link with water sources and its quality, sanitation and hygiene condition in Patiya Upazila, Chittagong of Bangladesh. Primary information was collected through questionnaire surveys, Household Survey (HHS), Key Informants Interview (KII), experts' opinion, water sample collection and analysis for the investigation of water quality parameters. Secondary information was collected from pertinent health and water institutions. The study result reveals that Patiya depends on both groundwater and surface water for domestic and drinking purposes.
