These chopsticks are by Kagoshima based bamboo craft makers Yagitake They make use of fibres from straight growing Kagoshima bamboo, to create precise instruments for eating. With shaped flat surfaces, these ones have a white colour block on their upper section. The chopsticks are 23cm long, and weigh 10g. **Yagi Bamboo Works** In Kagoshimas warm climate, the bamboo grows fast and straight. Since 1925 this sustainable resource has been used for craft by Yagitake Industry in Satsuma Sendai. A third generation family firm, they continue to apply their handmade quality to items for the use in daily life.
