Raspberry Glen Prosen is a summer fruiting cane which can cope with both dry and wet regions of the UK. Ideal for our climate! It will produce masses of delicious pink sweet Raspberries from June through to late autumn.The berries can be turned into jams or jellies, added to desserts or eaten raw straight from the cane.Glen Prosen plants like to be watered well in the first year, until the plants are well established. They usually will require support as they grow, and when the berries start to appear, it is advisable to cover the crop with a net to stop birds from taking your raspberries.In autumn, prune the canes which have fruited over summer to ground level and apply a rich thick mulch of well-rotted manure or compost to the base of the canes in spring to help keep the plants moist.
