Phlox Candy Stripes is a pretty variety and deservedly popular. This variety produces white petals and broadly striped with a soft pink that normally smothers the foliage in spring. Producing trailing stems that form a dense mat will cascade perfectly when planted in troughs or wall crevices. These plants are incredibly tough as they cope well in dry soils and hot sunny spots once they are established. To create evergreen ground cover plant in generous groups so they can intertwine. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil prior to planting.
