The ingenious design has the curved and contoured seating area of a classic garden bench mounted on a solid glider mechanism that allows it to rock gently with the movement of your body. Theres a lovely, hand-finished contoured lumber support shaped into the angled back section as well It will make a completely novel addition to any commercial or domestic setting and become a real talking point simultaneously. The glider mechanism is secured with solid brass fittings that will remain rust-free for the lifetime of the bench and offer a lovely smooth tool for the top section to glide on. Lightweight and easy to move The Glider Bench is hand-finished in teak which is by far the best timber for use outdoors due to the dense, oily characteristics that occur naturally in this wood and naturally protect it against the elements and the risk of cracking or splitting over time.
