A sparkling play of light with the Mosaix table lamp from Swarovski The Mosaix table lamp creates enchanting sparkle for the room in question. It is a designer lamp made by the Swarovski company – a firm renowned for its artistically cut crystals, which are predominantly used in the jewellery and fashion industries, but also serve to create a stir in the worlds of film and music. Various different sizes of square crystals have been embedded in the white metal lampshade of the Mosaix lamp. The crystals have not been arranged in a regular pattern, however; instead, they sit asymmetrically so that they are reminiscent of a mosaic – hence the name Mosaix. Daniel Swarovski, a glass cutter from Bohemia, identified the fascination with artistically cut glass and moved to Tyrol to set up his company in 1895.
