If her husband liked what she cooked, she would keep the recipe, but if he didn't care for it, she would change it with a mite here or a smidgen there. As her children grew, Mary really learned to cook. Making her own recipes, testing them on the children. Her Mother made the remark, Mary cooks better the I ever cook. Ladies would ask Mary for her recipe and, of course, she wouldn't give it to them. At the age of 78, she has decided to share her recipes.
