Compressing MacPherson strut coil springs without the correct equipment is one of the most hazardous tasks in automotive servicing. The Sealey RE239 Professional Coil Spring Compressor Kit is designed specifically for left-hand coil springs and provides the control and safety features needed for this demanding job. The kit is supplied with two pairs of interchangeable yokes black yokes suitable for springs with a diameter of 105-140mm, and silver yokes covering 145-190mm giving wide application coverage across a range of vehicles. Safety yokes are carefully shaped to prevent the spring bowing under compression, reducing the risk of dangerous spring release. Plastic yoke protectors are included to shield the spring coating from damage, which could otherwise invalidate the vehicle manufacturer's guarantee.
