Scorpions - Taken by force LP & CD - On the occasion of the Scorpions' 50 year anniversary, Taken by Force is released as a remastered vinyl replica edition including a CD with 6 bonus tracks (in a sleeve). It was the last studio album with Uli Jon Roth and the first with the new drummer Herman Rarebell. The new guy also wrote lyrics and helped out with He's a WomanShe's a Man. The LP includes numerous classics. The ballad Born to Touch Your Feelings shows the Scorpions' romantic side, which has made them the Masters of Ballads over the years. Despite the musical differences between Uli John Roth and the other band members, Taken by Force is a fascinating album with no faults. It is the highlight of the Uli Roth eraand it would definitely influence heavy metal music in the future.
