The advantage of this compared to more traditional methods is that you can view and log the temperatures during the lap to see how the each rotor reacts to braking at different points on the lap or stage. This information can be beneficial for fine tuning the chassis including brake bias, pad compound choice, suspension settings and tyre pressures
