Petzl Vertigo is an automatically locking, quick-opening aluminum locking ring designed for the ends of connection ropes intended for progress (e.g. Petzl Progress L44) for work use. The TwistLock lock and the ergonomic design specifically designed for this purpose make clipping and detaching easy and bypassing security points and moving forward in structures or on a lifeline very smooth. TwistLock opens by twisting and opening the gate. Always used in combination with a connecting rope (e.g. Petzl Progress). The patented KeyLock gate is smooth and prevents equipment from catching (which happens with a normal hook-like gate). The H-profile of the closing ring protects the serial number and datamatrix code from wear and makes tracking and periodic inspection efficient. The large gate opening of 25 mm allows attachment to most ropes, cables and railings. Minimum breaking strengths: longitudinally 25 kN, against the gate 10 kN, longitudinally with the gate open 8 kN.
