While Ortlieb panniers are full of great detail, one feature has been missing: most models can't stand up on their own when laid on the ground. This Stabilizing Insert creates enough support to enable the pannier standing up. Panniers made in 2024 or later are automatically compatible with this model. Use the [Ortlieb Retrofit Kit](https://scandinavianoutdoor.com/ortlieb/gear/backpacks-and-bags/trolleys/retrofit-kit/) to enable installing in older panniers. This model fits all Back-Roller, Bike-Packer and Bike-Shopper models. We have marked 2024 model Ortlieb panniers with the text "2024 model". If this text is not to be found, you're looking at a previously made model, which requires the use of the aforementioned Retrofit Kit in order to use this Stabilizing Insert.
