The speed system from Omex combines a rev limiter and shift light in a single compact unit. The unit includes an external ultra bright 10mm LED shift light complete with bezel for dashboard mounting whilst the rev limit features Omex soft cut technology with an operating range of 3,000 RPM to 20,000 RPM for 2 cylinder and 4 cylinder, 12,000 RPM for 6 cylinder and 10,000 for 8 cylinder engines. This rev limiter is available in two options of single coil and twin coil and is not suitable for CDI ignition systems.    All Omex microprocessor based shift lights and rev limiters feature Omex's acclaimed method of calibration. Shift point and rev limit is set independently of the car's tachometer, thereby removing any instrument error by incrementing in steps of 100 RPM by simply pressing a button on the unit.
