This is a complete, two-volume 1881 English edition of "Lectures on Architecture" by Eugène-Emmanuel Viollet-Le-Duc, translated by Benjamin Bucknall. Both books require structural restoration or rebinding due to severe wear on the external casings. On one volume, the hinge is torn, and both the front and back cover boards are completely detached from the text block. The second volume has its covers attached but the hinge is detached. Despite the heavy damage to the bindings, all internal pages, text blocks, and architectural illustrations are intact, complete, and in good readable condition.
