These Knipex 13 46 Series VDE Dismantling Pliers are fitted with multi-component grips, VDE tested up to 10,000V and safe for work up to 1,000V. They conform to DIN EN / IEC 60900. For stripping all types of round sheathed and damp-proof installation cables (e.g. NYM cable), without damage, thanks to circular cutting edge with depth limiter. The head is made from forged, vanadium electric steel, multi stage oil-hardened. Chrome plated finish. Cutting edges are additionally induction hardened to approx. 61 HRC for high wear resistance.
