Interlinear English / Hebrew in the Four Gospels : Authorhouse : 9781665526609 : 1665526602 : 21 May 2021 : I wrote this Book with the purpose of awakening the desire in the minds of all Christians believers to learn the language our Lord Jesus Christ spoke while He was here on this earth. With the exceptions of the Aramaic, Jesus Christ gave us the Word of His Gospel in the Hebrew and a few words in the Aramaic. The Bible was originally written in Greek by the Apostles in the first century. Later, Franz Delitzsch compiled the Hebrew version translating it from the original Greek. His work is known as "The Textus Receptus" in Greek. Most of the New Testament Books as we know them were written originally in the Greek by the Evangelists, even though, there are other versions like the Syriac. But I can imagine for the Gospel writers, while writing in Greek, Jesus Christ's beautiful and blessed Words still were reverberating in their minds in the original Hebrew and the Aramaic languages.
