Illustrated by Wyndham Robinson with humorous black and white engravings, this spoof memoir was published early in WWII and includes a fictional family tree and 'extracts from the memoirs of Sir Seemly Mallow, Bt., of Sinkings' and there is no apparent reference to Himmler involved but it was an eye-catching title at the time no doubt! Green cloth-covered boards very faded, stained and bent with corners bumped etc. No inscriptions in text; pages tanned, especially flyleaves. Stitched binding tight. Bookseller label inside front cover.
