The LFV 80 is equipped with a Honda petrol engine with a strong protective tubular frame, a cast iron convex baseplate which provides high manoeuvrability and optimal water distribution, an oil-filled and sealed excitor unit, maintenance free bearings, together with a vented belt guard and flights on pulley ends to generate airflow to both cool and extend belt life.
