Hand-laced to HUNT XC wheels with triple-butted Pillar spokes.Tyre size: Optimized for 2.2" to 2.4" tyres; work well with 2.0" up to 2.6" tyres.The HUNT Engineering team uses custom impact rig to test the XC Wide alongside leading competitors and their own wheelsets. The graph below shows the impact energy (J) recorded at the first sign of failure.After approximately 300 hours of FEA modelling per rim, the HUNT team has created unique front and rear-specific rim profiles to achieve the ideal performance attributes for each wheels specific role.
