Homematic IP starter set security – BILD edition with an Access Point central control unit, an alarm siren and a motion detector This starter set allows you to use Homematic IP for the smart monitoring of the interior. When uninvited guests enter a room, their movements are detected and an alarm is triggered. The Access Point is required for commissioning and configuration. It communicates with the Homematic IP components in an encrypted form via radio waves and provides a connection between your smartphone and the cloud via an Internet-enabled router. The passive infrared sensor detects movements at an angle of 105° and at a distance of up to 12 metres as well as attempts to tamper with the sensor. These trigger an acoustic and optical alarm when the alarm siren is armed (also with a tamper contact) - even when the Internet connection fails.
