Foscarini Rituals – the table lamp made of handblown glass, with dimmer The Foscarini Rituals table lamp radiates pure relaxation and balance. Its handblown glass lampshade looks less like solid glass in terms of its shape and structure, but more like Japan paper. True to its name, Rituals thus shows that the background lighting for meditation or relaxation sessions does not necessarily have to come from light sources made of natural materials, but lamps made of glass can also create a homely, feel-good atmosphere. The horizontal circles, which the lampshade of the lamp passes through, are formed using a special glass processing technique called "a fermo". In this blowing technique, the glass is not turned in the mould. Negative decorations in the mould are embedded in the glass, creating the characteristic striped pattern that impresses when the light is switched on. The final touches are literally done by hand.
