Foscarini Birdie grande - LED table lamp in translucent polycarbonate, with touch dimmer The Birdie LED table lamp comes from the pen of the Milanese designer duo Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, known for their high-quality product and design creations. Starting from the classic form of a timeless table lamp, the duo created the Birdie table lamp for the Italian brand Foscarini in 2011. But Birdie differs from other table lamps of its kind not only by the clever choice of translucent material, but also by the striking placement of a cross strut at the base of the lamp, which explains how Birdie got its name. The slightly slanted rod, which houses the switch and touch dimmer, looks like the branch of a tree on which a bird could effortlessly sit.
