Ethnobotanical and phytochemical study and antibacterial activity : Our Knowledge Publishing : 9786207060573 : 6207060571 : 18 Jan 2024 : Our work is part of the research program of the "Cryptogamie et de Botanique m?dicale" laboratory, at the University of Badji Mokhtar-Annaba- Faculty of Medicine; Department of Pharmacy; which is aimed at developing new compounds or active ingredients of therapeutic interest. To this end, we planned to carry out a multicentric ethnobotanical survey to gather information and know-how on the use of date pits of the Deglet Nour variety from Tolga-Biskra. This survey enabled us to identify 19 traditional recipes for the use of date pits, of which the cosmetological use represented by the anti-wrinkle effect is the main one, followed by the antidiabetic and antilithiasic effects.
