Gufram expands its collaboration with New York studio Snarkitecture with the BROKEN BENCH, an addition to the BROKEN SERIES. Building on the contemporary, radical aesthetic of the BROKEN MIRROR, the series explores the versatility of polyurethanea material Gufram is renowned forthrough playful contrasts ofsoft/not soft. Designed by Alex Mustonen and Daniel Arsham, the BROKEN BENCH mimics the appearance of concrete while retaining polyurethanes signature softness. This effect is achieved using Guflac®, Guframs patented hand-applied paint, allowing for elasticity and unique textures. Each handcrafted piece is proudly Made in Italy, with subtle variations making every bench unique. The BROKEN BENCH, resembling a fragment of the BROKEN MIRROR, is a striking irregular slab ofsoft cementpolyurethane. Supported by durable plastic girders, it blends bold design with practicality, suitable for both domestic and public spaces.
