The Brantz CANBUS Interface ensures Brantz tripmeters can be quickly and easily on vehicles equipped with OBD II port.This Interface kit has been designed to reduce the time taken to install tripmeters by containing pre-existing wiring for the tripmeters and the OBD II plug which provides speed results instead of the traditional Brantz solution of a wheel or gearbox sensor. The OBD II port requires checking that speed results are provided through the port prior to installation, however once this has been checked the installation can take a few moments and is great for either competition cars running standard looms or recce cars which do not require a trip meter installed in the car all of the time.The Brantz CANBUS interface is not only easy and quick to install but is also less likely to trip the CANBUS sensors which are common on new cars and which are extremely sensitive.Please note that not all modern vehicles equipped with CANBUS send a speed signal through the port, please check
