BMW E46 Rear Subframe Reinforcement Kit A product designed with BMW E46 users in mind, as we know that corrosion of the rear suspension beam is a major issue. This product is intended to strengthen or repair and reinforce the critical areas. These are not ordinary plates, but a specially designed and properly bent/pressed set of reinforcements that fit all the curves and shapes. Depending on the condition of the beam, there may be a minor need to tap rounded areas with a hammer (tested on several beams, and each differed slightly in condition. Time has taken its toll). To make your work easier, in several photos we have marked in red the areas where the reinforcements are intended to be installed. The reinforcements are made of 3mm thick (S355) steel. The reinforcement must be welded into the beam. Our product is manufactured in Poland by qualified professionals. It is laser-cut and then bent on CNC press brakes.
