As antifreeze ages, corrosion inhibitors are gradually depleted exposing cooling system metals to corrosion, pitting and silicate gel formation that can block coolant passages and impair heat transfer. BG Universal Super Cool provides outstanding protection for all cooling system metals, including aluminium components increasingly common in modern engines.
