Tolomeo Basculante adjustable floor lamp with paper lampshade The Tolomeo Basculante floor lamp clearly bears the hallmarks of a classic design from the Tolomeo lamp family, which began by creating the Tolomeo table lamp in 1986. Since then, more and more lamps have been added to the Artemide series, which is already considered a design icon. Designers Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina have scored another success with the Tolomeo Basculante floor lamp, a lamp that can not only be adjusted in height and projection but which also has some very homely features thanks to its paper lampshade, which is reinforced with plastic. The Italian light manufacturer Artemide has made a major contribution to the international development of the design with some of the lamps it has produced, including the Tolomeo series.
