Tilton is one of three exclusive colours Annie has created as a part of the Annie Sloan with Charleston collaboration. Tilton is a deep, bright mustard inspired by the beautifully painted circle motif on Vanessa Bells decorative wardrobe from 1917 in Charleston Farmhouse. Now a global phenomenon, Annie Sloan first developed the Chalk Paint® range (named for its velvety, ultra matt finish) in 1990 to create a versatile paint that would work beautifully on furniture without priming or sanding; that would be easy to use and quick to dry; and that could be used for a number of different paint techniques.
