The Abstract coffee table brings silver to a clean, square form. Aluminium forms both the top and the base, giving the piece a consistent metallic character. With its low height, it can create its own focal point between the sofa and armchair without obstructing the view of the upholstered furniture above. The 60 × 60 cm surface provides a deliberately compact storage area. A coffee-table book, a small bowl or a drink can all find a place on it; the uncluttered silver-coloured surface remains part of the design. Alongside warm fabrics, the metal acts as a cool counterpoint, whilst in a grey living space, it is the different materials in particular that stand out against one another.
