When the Deutsche Reichsbahn replaced most old built passenger cars with new construction and Reko passenger cars in the 1970s, the last four-axle express coaches of the unit type from the years 19281932 were combined to form the traditional train of the Deutsche Reichsbahn.The three wagons of 2 class as well as the accompanying luggage wagon were used in the regular train operation of the RBD Greifswald until 1977.
