Arne Jacobsen designed this lampas well as many other elementsin 1957 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The small table lamp creates a pleasant, downward-directed light thanks to the white lacqueredinside of its shade. The shade can also be tilted to adjust the light emission.The AJ lamp series is probably Arne Jacobsen's most famous design worldwide. In addition to the AJ Mini table lamp, the AJ lamp series also included a larger table lamp, a floor lamp, a wall lamp, and a permanently installed table lamp. All of these lamps were part of the SAS Royal Hotel when it opened in 1960. Louis Poulsen introduced the AJ Mini table lamp in 2020 in honor of the hotel's 60th anniversary. In addition, in memory of Arne Jacobsen, all AJ lamps are now available again in their stylish original stainless steel design. Today, the elegant AJ Mini table lamp is not only an attractive decoration for windowsills, bookshelves, or small tables. It also provides pleasant, high-quality lighting.
