Gearbox mount GM T5/T56/4L60 - Volvo 240 This gearbox mount has several attachment holes to the body and can also be turned 180 degrees and almost have endless possibilities to fit. Strong and slim design that provides good space for the exhaust system. Depending on which gearbox you choose, you may need to knock and possibly make some recess in the gearbox tunnel. The beam does not fit the large 4L80 gearbox. The attachment on that gearbox ends up too far back and you will have to cut out a lot in the tunnel in order for it to fit at all. The beam is made to fit together with the standard gearbox bracket / gearbox rubber. Examples are shown in the manual. Dimensions of the gearbox rubber should be about 46mm high and cc threaded holes about 38mm. Check the height of your gearbox between the center of the output shaft and the underside of the rubber bushing. It should be about 116mm for it to fit good in height with this beam.
