Designed in 1954 by Herbert Hirche, the DHS10 shelving system distills the principles of postwar modernism into a precise, modular structure. Originally produced by Christian Holzäpfel KG and reissued in 2019, the design uses steel tube ladders to support a range of componentsfrom shelves and back panels to cabinet elements. These parts can be arranged freely, allowing the system to adapt to various spaces and uses. Functional, understated, and quietly architectural, DHS10 reflects a formative era of German industrial design.
