Disaster strikes a group of student activists from New York who travel to South America on a trip of a lifetime when the plane they are travelling in crashes into the Amazon jungle.Those who are fortunate enough to survive the crash are soon taken hostage by an indigenous tribe and face a harrowing struggle for escape whilst bearing witness to the ritualistic murders of their friends at the hands of the tribe.

Gory horror written and directed by Eli Roth. When a group of American student activists travel deep into the Amazon rainforest, the campaigners discover they are not entirely alone in their new surroundings. With the aim of making a viral campaign against people destroying the unique environment, the students stumble upon a tribe of natives living in the rainforest after their plane crashes in the jungle. But things take a turn for the worse when they are captured by the dwindling native tribe, who later reveal themselves to be cannibals. Captured by the very people they sought to protect, the students find there's a high price to pay for the attention they craved, even if it was in the name of a good cause.
