In extreme conditions, a roomy shell jacket can be worn over itin this setup, the wind-resistant fabric allows you to ventilate the shell without creating cold spots. Most of the vest's surface area is made from wind-resistant face fabric with lightweight synthetic insulation. The Coreloft insulation handles moisture better than down. The manufacturer uses the sloganwarm even when wet,but we dont recommend intentionally soaking this (or any) vest. The stretch fleece used at the sides is breathable enough to keep the jacket comfortable even when youre sweating.
