The print captures the texture, shadow and depth of paper used by the artist, as well as the tactile, balanced compositions Seraphina is known for. For this considered piece, she takes inspiration from her environment. Seasons are a running theme through this series! When we first discussed this project, it was Springtime and I was looking ahead to the Summer when thinking about colour choices and theme ideas. It was Autumn by the time I was working on the final artworks and this had a big influence on the direction they ended up taking - especially with the moodier colours and leafy shapes.
