The Netherlands has many special features. And that also applies to the railways in our neighboring country. At an early stage, they put a lot of emphasis on their own vehicle creations, which often made unusual designs not only speak of themselves in their home country. When the Dutch National Railways NS wanted to modernize their intercity traffic in the 1970s, they developed, together with the German wagon factory Talbot, a completely unusual train set with panorama driver's cabs over the wagon transitions.
