He has successfully blended his Native culture with the modern American world. It was expressed to me that many feel the younger generation is losing touch with their beautiful Native culture. It has truly been a gift to study this culture and create an inspirational children's book around the Native American beliefs. One strong aspect of this indigenous culture is that they believe that all living things such as people, animals, and Mother Nature are all connected to each other through a common energy that they were created from.
