The Duotone vases are a result of Meyers & Fügmanns study into the possibilities of colouring porcelain without the use of glaze. A unique quality of unglazed porcelain vessels is that they can hold water. The cylinders are cast from coloured porcelain slip and placed into colorants. The colour intensity and texture is influenced by various factors in the production process making every vase unique. Each piece is handmade, slight differences are due to the production process.
