JBL ProTemp Cooler x200 is a modern cross-flow fan with broad airflow -indispensable in high summer. The JBL coolers for freshwater and marine aquariums cool down by 2-4C with the help of cross-flow fans. Due to the air flow the warm water evaporates at the water surface and thus generates evaporative cooling. This is comparable to evaporation cooling of a wet body part which is exposed to the wind.
