Off-piste-specific OBEX Backcountry SPIN is designed for increased traceability and durability. If something goes wrong, skiers must be found - quickly. With an NFC Medical ID chip, rescue personnel can get the information they need in just a moment's injury, helping doctors to make the best assessments for your treatment during the important "Golden Hour" period shortly after an accident. The introduction of the NFC chip comes as part of POC's whole-helmet concept for design, comfort, fit and performance, which includes SPIN (Shearing Pad INside), POC's proprietary silicone technology system. Other features of the whole-helmet concept include the use of RECCO rescue reflectors to assist rescue personnel in their search for lost skiers. The helmet is compatible with the Obex Communication headset (sold separately) and is designed for seamless compatibility with POC's own ski goggles. The ventilation is fully adjustable and the earplugs can be removed, and a thicker PC shell compared to
