Homematic IP CCU3 - locally controllable central control unit for the Homematic IP smart home system The CCU3 central control unit allows you to set up, configure and control the Homematic IP smart home system locally. This means that it remains functional even if the Internet fails. To this end, CCU3 takes on the role of the server that makes it possible to control the Homematic IP system via the user interface WebUI, which can be accessed via common browsers (Mozilla Firefox®, Microsoft® Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari). There is also the option of control via apps from other providers and of integration into Philips Hue and OSRAM/LEDVANCE SMART+ via the latters’ gateways. The central control unit communicates with the router via the included network cable and with the Homematic IP components via radio.
